Aaron's First Birthday Party
This is Wesley's friend Aaron. He just turned ONE YEAR OLD! His parents threw a fabulous party, complete with an egg hunt! It was a lot of fun, all the babies were well behaved and so were the little kids. Gabriel is setting a great example for his little brother! Good job Shawn and Angie - beautiful boys and so sweet! Thanks for having us over!

Baby's First Easter!
We went over to Greg's parent's house for Wesley's first Easter."Is this my Easter basket?" "Yea! It is for me!"Wesley loves the Easter bunny! Grandpop taught Wesley how to blow raspberries, much to their delight...
And grandmom helped Wesley work on his walking. (After she cooked us a WONDERFUL meal!!!)

Rock-A-Bye Baby
I am happy to report that Wesley has been sleeping much better at night these days. In turn, we our whole house is sleeping better. He usually goes to bed around eight and will wake up around three or four for a feeding and then back to bed until eight am, Naps aren't going so well, despite what these pictures might say. And no, he doesn't usually nap in his cradle in front of the window.
I had to just say I'm really excited about the pictures in this post because I took them all in the manual mode of my camera. That may not mean a lot to you nonphoto people, but to me, these pictures are so important in my journey to become a better photographer. Thanks for looking!

When Irish Eyes Are Smiling
Over in Killarney
Many years ago,
My Mother sang a song to me
In tones so sweet and low.
Just a simple little ditty,
In her good ould Irish way,
And l'd give the world if she could sing
That song to me this day.
"Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral,
Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral,
hush now, don't you cry!
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral,
Too-ra-loo-ra-li,
Too-ra-loo-ra-loo-ral,
that's an Irish lullaby."
words and music J.R. Shannon
A Day At The Park
We live close to a park, so we took a walk and did some people watching. We were going to put Wesley in the baby swing, but it was occupied. It was a beautiful day and we weren't the only ones there. Wesley wore his Orioles hat, which is still too big... hence the binder clip on the back to help "size" it a little smaller.

5 Months Old Today!!!
Sleeping through the night! OK, maybe not every night, but lots of nights. We had to do a little sleep training with Wesley, and it didn’t take long at all for him to figure out that sleeping all night long can be a good thing. Of course, it is a concept that needed lots of reinforcement, but was so nice to start getting real periods of sleep again! By five months, Wesley figured out how to blow bubbles and he loves to be bounced and tossed in the air. Looks like our little guy might be a thrill seeker!
