We're on our way to Grandma and Opa's house before we go to the Adirondack mountains. It was a long drive, so we stopped a couple times to let Wesley stretch and romp around. This was a little play in the car. Wesley discovered the joys of windshield wipers and discovered (quickly) how to make the sprayer work! He also honked the horn on accident a couple times. We did go find a patch of grass to crawl around in, but I didn't take any pictures.
We left Baltimore around 1:30 and got to Rochester, NY around 9:45. Wesley slept a lot of the way, but it got pretty ugly from 4:30 until 7:30. We ended up stopping three times during that period and once we got Wesley to understand that it was "bedtime" even though he wasn't in his crib, he went to sleep fairly easily. When we got to Rochester, we pulled him out of the car seat to change him and put him in the pack n' play. The poor little guy rolled over after getting his diaper changed and immediately fell asleep - BEFORE his onesie was even snapped! He was so tuckered out from the voyage!
