It was a beautiful day for a party and what a celebration it was! Wesley was fortunate enough to have family from near and far come to celebrate his first birthday. The birthday boy had a late morning nap and slept for a good bit of the beginning of the party. Once he was out of bed, his feet hardly hit the floor between all the grandparents holding him! Of course, we sang 'Happy Birthday' and Wesley was given his own cake to enjoy. At first he wasn't too sure what to do with it, but it seems he liked the taste of the frosting! After cake, we opened presents and Wesley did a lot of the ripping of the paper and rooting around in the bags. It was a great day, a fun party and an awesome way to celebrate the anniversary of Wesley's arrival into the world!

Those cake pics are awesome. he really tore into the cake. Love it. I cannot believe its been a whole year since he was born.
