Our Wedding

A mix of pro and non pro pics...

Getting ready details

Me and my beautiful girls

A few of my favorite bridal portraits

My handsome groom!

I was waiting in the house next to the church before the ceremony,

where I recieved the BEST card and gift from Greg.

My card and gift to Greg.

Our church

Twirling with my flowergirl while waiting to walk down the aisle

Greg escorted his parents down the asile and sat them.

My brother did the same for my mom.

My Grandpa walked me down the asile.

At first, all Greg could see was my silhouette.

Our beautiful church, we memorized our vows and worked really hard to personalize our ceremony.

A few pics of the newlyweds at the church

Watch some of our ceremony (processional and kiss and recessional) by clicking on the "play" button in the middle of the pic.

We went back to the park by the Washington Monument in Mt Vernon to take pics.

We had the most GORGOUS day, perfect temperature and beautiful blue skies!

After pics in the park, we were off to the Belvedere for more pics, to get bustled and then to start the party!

While the guests were in a different room for the cocktail hour,

we snuck into our reception room, the John Eager Howard room, and practiced our first dance.

A few more pics outside The Belvedere.

Reception details

My Grandpa and my mom.

Greg's mom and dad.

Our bridal party being announced into the reception.

Our first dance.

I love the way the bridesmaids are standing in the background in the pic on the right.

Our guests LOVED our first dance, especially my Grandma!

(Thanks to Missy at Studio DNA!)

We sat on the stage to watch our growing up slideshow.

A touching toast by the best man and our sweetheart table

We are so glad we did the sweetheart table, it gave us a little private time to talk.

Yes, we did eat and yes, that is my peony bouquet.

My dance with my father and a good pic of my bustle.

At the same time, Greg danced with my mom.

Greg dancing with his mom and me with his dad.

We are so glad we combined our parent dances in this way.

Let the dancing begin!

Me dancing with my Maid (soon to be Matron!) of honor and then the flowergirl.

Yeah, we smooshed cake, but then we made up for it!

We did an anniversary dance to give away the toss bouquet.

After my grandparents won for being married 54 years, we played their song "Because Of You" by Tony Bennet

The crowd went wild and it was so awesome to do that for them.

The Cha Cha Slide and Greg dancing with the flowergirl

Knotties and our bling!

Greg's parents suprised us with our last dance.

They gave us leis and played the Hawaiian Wedding Song by Elvis for our last dance.

Our sparkler send-off! I LOVED IT!
