First Carnival

This evening we headed over to the Arbutus Fireman's Carnival. It didn't start until 7 and Wesley usually goes to bed around 7:45, so we didn't stay long. Also Wesley is still a little too small to ride the rides just yet. We did put him on the car ride, but the strap was too loose across his lap and it just wasn't safe for him to ride. So, Daddy rode with him on the helicopters. Greg wasn't too sure whether or not Wesley liked the ride. He did great on the banana ride at the zoo the other day, but he seemed a little clingy on the helicopters. Maybe it was the noise, maybe because we were getting close to bedtime, maybe he just wanted to snuggle with his Daddy. After the one and only ride, we walked around a bit and then we headed home. Wesley loved looking at everything, even if he couldn't ride just yet.
