Today we went to the Columbia Association's Swansfield Pool. To call it a pool is a bit of an understatement. They have a Splash Pad which is perfect for toddlers to run and play. They also have a toddler pool with a maximum depth of one foot, so even the littlest walkers could wade around. Oh yeah, they have one of those big Olympic sized pools and giant water slide too, that is, if you're into that kind of thing.
For a day in July, it was rather cool day and, thankfully, the water was heated. We went to the pool with our neighbor and her three year old Kira. The kids had so much fun running around, alternating from the splash area and the toddler pool and back and forth. Needless to say, I think they will both sleep well tonight after all that activity!
